White House 2.0

April 29th, 2009

I know, that lot of words has already been said about current US government and its openess to new technologies. Vimeo, Whitehouse.gov, Twitter and lot of other great services. Since today, 29th of April, Flickr has joined the family of websites with White House in their users list.

Truly great photos of (mostly) Barack Obama in daily situations (as one shown above) might be found there.

This situation is pretty funny comparing to how our president is complementing internet’s use in campaign – it won’t be a lie, if I tell, that there is technically no use at all besides official website. And, in addition, president is not internet enthusiast at all and his brother (ex prime minister) is openly offending net users as young people drinking beer and watching pornography.

I love you, Poland.
